Lesson 5b "-ING/ -ED Adjectives" Common Mistakes in English

So let’s see how you well understand and try exercise.  [see screen]

Let’s use one as example.  Read text yourself, choose the adjective, in a moment, I will tell you the answer. [see screen]

We chose ‘struggling’ because it describes composer.  Composer is doing something, perform an action. This is active so we need –ing.  A struggling composer.  [see screen]

That’s all for now.  Thanks for watching and Happy studies!

As Jennifer suggested, let’s watch the movie, Mr. Holland's Opus.  After all we are good students who follow a teacher’s suggestion, aren’t we?  :-)

After quick reading the script, I realized that the provided script is not always matching to the corresponding scenes.  But, this is the only script available from the Internet, and it is TOO long for me to dictate.

I will leave the script for your dictation practice.  However, if you want to share your dictation, even only a small part, please leave them here or send them to me through e-mail (signalhunt@gmail.com), I will post them with your credit.  The movie lasts for about 2 hours with 15 continuous parts.

Sit back and enjoy this great movie.  Sponsored by YouTube and Google!!!
