SCRIPT, LISTENING TIPS, & GRAMMAR

What do you like to do for fun?

That’s a great question; I just asking myself that the other day.  I really enjoy nature, going for drives, in like where fall foliages, like hiking up in the mountains, hiking in mountain, getting in touch with nature, and I do love going to the movies.  And basically the thing I like more than anything else is just sitting around with folks, talking.  That’s what I like to do.

  • where fall foliages : 낙엽지는 산길

What would you like to do for fun here in New York?  Movies, shows, bars…

Now we’re ready, now we’re ready, we can say what we feel.

Hi, What’s your name?  Diane.  Diane what?  I can’t tell you that.  That’s OK.  And what are you doing out here on the street today?  Actually I’m going back to work and I was shopping in Saks Fifth Avenue. What did you go shopping for?  I didn’t really gonna buy anything, but I looked around and I saw dress was on sale and it caught my eye sight bought.. so you bought it.  I bought it.  That’s great and do you live here in New York?  Yes, I do.  Where do you live?  I live on 68th Street.  OK, and what did you say you did, Did you say what you do for living?  No, I didn’t say what I did.  I’m in publishing.  Great!  Magazine publishing.  And what do you like to do for fun in New York?  What I do like to do for fun in New York?  I like to get out of the New York.  I’d like to go country.

  • I didn’t really wanna go buy anything, but

What do you do?

What do I do?  Uh, basically it’s.., I’m like a mailman, but I carry around a little computer thing, and I scan to play it out help people sign for it.  You know deliver like all paperwork or important documents stuff like that.  So what do you have in box here?  Oh, here I have all my building set up.  This is how I walk around with it instead of carrying it all, I push a cart.  What do you like to do for fun?  After work, I’d like to go home, relax, watch  little TV.  When payday comes around on Friday, I’d like to go out and spend my money.. you know…  go out dancing whatever…

  • documents stuff like that직접 발음을 해 보시면 밑줄친 부분의 발음에 대한 느낌이 어떻습니까?

When you’re living Manhattan, you’ll leave every weekend.  It won’t when you can’t.   And what are you gonna do on your next holiday?  I’m not sure, I think on my next holiday I’ll probably get married and I’ll be on my honeymoon.  Congratulations…  oh, thank you.. it’s wonderful..!  When are you gonna getting married?  We’re planning on September, next year. Beautiful!  Congratulations..!  And what do you like to do for fun?  I love to hike, I like to camp, I like to jog, I work out.

  • When are you gonna getting married? . going to get married. get
